Bassetlaw Day Services offers services to a wide group of people, covering an age range of nineteen upwards. We offer an imaginative and flexible service for people, who require close support and supervision and to people who are working towards living as independently as possible in their local community. We offer day services across two sites in Worksop. We aim to make each day for people who access our service an enjoyable experience. We offer a range of stimulating activities designed to meet individual support needs and give new experiences in a safe environment through social, recreational and educational activities.
Facilities at Albion Close
We have a wide range of facilities on offer including a salon, sensory room, activity rooms, a well-equipped art and craft room, comfortable lounges and a spacious dining room. The building has a full catering service and an excellent choice of hot and cold meals are available.

Facilities at the Community Resource within Worksop Library
The day service opened in 2010 and is a modern fully equipped building with a computer suite, art and craft room, spacious lounges, several multi- purpose activity rooms and an accessible enclosed garden. The day service can provide an excellant choice of hot and cold meals. The barista café located within the Library also offers an excellent choice of food and drinks throughout the day.
The Connect Service- can help you by finding info about local services, activities & opportunities. If needed, Connect staff can work with you around money issues, housing problems, health management & other things. This short-term support will be tailored to your needs & will focus on achieving what you want in a way that suits you.
If after exploring these options you feel you may need more support, then you might need to have a Care & Support Assessment. This will allow you to explain the things you are finding hard to achieve & we will discuss with you how we might be able to help you.
The aim of the assessment will always be to help you regain or maintain a level of independence. We will carry out the assessment in the most proportionate way depending on your needs, this could be over the telephone or at one of our clinics.
Please contact us on 0300 500 80 80, an advisor can help you with your options and may complete a referral for a care and support assessment.
Currently we have 39 groups with more being added on a regular basis, offering a diverse range of activities. Each Group is self organised and new members are welcome to join an existing group. If you have a particular interest and there is no group currently running, please do not hesitate in getting a group started! Committee members will be available to give you as much guidance and help that is necessary to get any new group up and running.
